COBRA Portable VHF range
Renowned in the United States for over 50 years for its CBs and radar detectors, the VHF COBRA MARINE has been imported exclusively by POCHON since 2004.
Easily recover your Cobra Marine portable VHF if you fall in the water. The BURP function causes the speaker grille to vibrate in the water for clear communication. All Cobra Marine fixed radios comply with IPX8 standards for perfect underwater operation and are waterproof.
The first IPX 7 portable VHFs
They were the first portable VHFs on the market to be waterproof (IPX 7), while remaining in a competitive price range. Another advantage is that accessories that are usually optional are supplied as standard (bracket, 220v and 12v charger, battery box, etc.). As a result, a huge number of sailing clubs, professionals and yachtsmen are equipping themselves with our VHFs.
In 2010, COBRA, almost 2 years ahead of its competitors, released the 1st Bluetooth-equipped VHF, the COBRA H475. This portable VHF takes over from your mobile phone, which stays dry inside the boat. It was also one of the first floating VHFs with 6 Watts of transmitting power.
History and development of models
The small COBRA HH125 is perfect as a back-up VHF, as a complement to a fixed model or for use in dinghies. It costs less than 90 euros.
The latest version, the H600, is equipped with an integrated GPS, active DSC function in the event of an emergency, MOB function, automatic flashing light and Lithium Ion battery for extra autonomy.
The H150 VHF, the latest addition to the range (2019), is ultra-compact, waterproof to IPX7 and floats.
